Warren P. Rogers

Warren P. Rogers

PRESIDENT

Warren P. Rogers is a lifelong resident of Lexington. In 1979, he received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky. The son of the founder of W. Rogers Company*, Warren worked on company projects during summer months. After completing school, Warren began his career with the Company as a jobsite Superintendent and soon became a Project Manager. In 1985, Warren assumed the position of Vice President and he took the reins as president in 1992.

Warren has been active in several construction associations, including the Kentuckiana Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), where in 1991 he served as the chapter's youngest-ever statewide president. He has held several committee chairmanships on state and national levels with ABC. Warren is a past board member with the Associated General Contractors of Kentucky.

Outside of his role in the company, Warren is a charter member (since 1958) of Crestwood Christian Church in Lexington where he serves as an elder. He also serves on the board of trustees of Lexington Theological Seminary. He is married to the former Carol Goggin of Danville. They have two daughters.

While in college at the University of Kentucky, Boyd Rogers took an interest in the Heavy Equipment shop of W. Rogers Company. In 1976, Boyd became the Company's Equipment Manager. After several years in that role, Boyd became a Buyer and shortly thereafter became Manager of the Purchasing Department. This department also served as the estimating arm for the Company. Over the years, Boyd has gained a reputation as an expert in the procurement of water and wastewater treatment plant equipment and has been consulted on many occasions for his expertise in the field.


Tom McConathy

VICE PRESIDENT

Tom McConathy is a 1978 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering. Tom, a native of Lexington, came to work for W. Rogers Company directly out of college as a project Superintendent. After working his way up through the ranks of Superintendents, Tom was promoted to Project Manager in 1986. Tom was named Vice President in 1998, and now oversees the construction division of the company.


Ray Brooks

SECRETARY/TREASURER

Prior to joining W. Rogers Company as Controller in 1985, Ray Brooks was a business owner and served as Controller for companies in several markets. He attended Georgetown College and the University of Kentucky before receiving a B.S. in Accounting from Wright State University in 1971. Ray was named Corporate Treasurer for W. Rogers Company in 1992, and then Secretary Treasurer in 2000. His areas of responsibility with the Company include financial operations, human resources, information systems and office administration.

Ray is also one of the founders and a charter member of the Bluegrass Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). He served as chapter president in 1995-96, six terms as a board member, and as designated director on the national board of CFMA.
