Davidson County, TN | May 22, 2007
On May 10th, W. Rogers Company was the successful bidder on an expansion of the Harpeth Valley Utility District (HVUD) water plant near Nashville, Tennessee. W. Rogers will construct four new filter trains, expanding the plant located on River Road in western Davidson County to a capacity to 51 million gallons a day. W. Rogers Company’s contract for $15 million will allow HVUD to better serve the growing needs of Davidson and Williamson counties. A groundbreaking will be held in late June 2007, and the project is scheduled to be completed in the last quarter of 2008. W. Rogers successfully completed a similar water plant expansion for HVUD at the same Cumberland River site in 2002.
