On July 15, W. Rogers Company was the successful bidder on a significant water treatment plant expansion project in Clarksville, TN. W. Rogers Co. submitted a bid of $23,900,875. There were three bids submitted to the City of Clarksville ranging from $23.9 million to $24.6 million.
The current plant will be expanded to treat 28 million gallons of water a day. It will be a new pressurized membrane system in a new 13,800 square foot building. The expansion is projected to begin in October 2010 and should be complete in approximately 30 months with final completion occurring in 2013.
