W. Rogers Company is proud to team up with United Way of the Bluegrass to present the 10,000 Hours Show! This is a year-long effort to engage Lexingtonians in volunteerism that ends with a free concert at Buster's Billiards and Backroom in April 2010, but the only way to gain admission to the concert in through at least 10 volunteer hours to a local non-profit.

The 10,000 Hours Show’s concert is a unique celebration of service that takes the best parts of “normal” concerts – great bands, great atmosphere and great times – and makes them better – with an all-volunteer audience, a community saying thanks and performers who care.
The mission of the 10,000 Hours Show is to mobilize young adults to meet immediate community needs, to recognize those who do and to help develop the next generation of active community leaders.
You must volunteer at least 10 hours with a local non-profit or community organization between May 18, 2009 and April 2010. By logging your hours on Bluegrass United Way’s website, you will receive a free ticket to the April 2010 concert! The concert act and time is expected to be announced in January 2010.
